2022: Copperhead Mountain Coaster, Branson, MO

My son and I made it a goal to ride every Alpine Coaster in Branson, MO, when we were there for a family reunion in July 2022. This spread is of our ride on the Copperhead Mountain Coaster at The Shepherd of the Hills.
I am usually not in very many pictures in my scrapbooks because I am usually the one taking all of the pictures. In this case my son was the one taking the pictures, so I am in several of them which I am thankful for.
I chose yellow and red for the theme of this page to match the colors in the coaster logo, and designed the graphic and matting using Cricut Design Space. In order to tie the two pages together I created it in a 12×24 format and used the 12×24 mat to cut out the matting and snake graphic. I used ink to help give the snake some dimension – using red on the outside border, and yellow on the inside. It is a little hard to see in this picture, but more distinct when viewing it in person.
I had to be careful on the right-hand side with the matting as the three photos span then entire 12 inches of the page, which meant that I had to cut off some of the matting on the right-hand side. In order to help me accomplish this, I cut the matting in the correct spot to divide it between the two pages before putting the photos on the mat.
I finished the spread by using copper torn edge borders to assist with defining the spread.
