Sizzix Big Shot

The Big Shot is a die and embossing machine that can be used to cut paper, card stock and even material using metal dies.  It can also be used to emboss paper and card stock using embossing plates.

It is designed as a roller machine that exerts pressure on the die or plate and the paper at the same time thereby pressing the die blades, or the embossing plate into the paper to make the cut or embossing.

While I find that my Cricut machine is more efficient in cutting paper and card stock, the Big Shot is a must for cutting fabric, or thicker card stock, and a must if you like to emboss your projects.
