2022: Branson Landing, Branson Missouri

During our Family Reunion in July 2022 in Branson, Missouri, my son and I had some time to go to the Branson Landing to explore. There are so many shopping, eating, and entertainment options at the Branson Landing that you really could spend the whole day there. It was during this day that we ate at Guy Fieri’s Kitchen and Bar that I made a scrapbook spread for earlier this week.

The theme of this page is designed around the left-hand side background paper which I purchased at a scrapbook store in Branson. I wanted this page to contain several different pictures from our time at the Landing, and felt that the best way to do this was to make it look like a wall picture board that one might have in a kitchen or family room at home. The spread also contains business cards from some of our favorite businesses, a prize ticket from a laser arcade, and some “gold” coins from the Shipwrecked Treasure Museum.

I attached the photos, ephemera, and title block with adhesive tape, and then used brads to look like nails or pushpins to complete the look. I designed the title block using Cricut Design Space, and then used the pen and cut functions of my Cricut Machine to draw and cut it out.

While the design of the page is simple, it does cause the viewer to pause and look at each picture and ephemera carefully to understand the story of the spread.
