2022: Walkabout Reunion and The Milk House
This is the second scrapbook spread from our Greenville University Homecoming 2022 weekend. The left-hand side shows a picture from a Walkabout Reunion (I went on the first 7 trips), and the right-hand page shares pictures from our yummy adventure at The Milk House in Greenville, IL.
The page theme is based on the Walkabout Reunion sticker that you can see on the spread – I used both the color scheme and images from the sticker. The graphics and matting were designed using Cricut Design Space and then cut out using my Cricut Machine.
I used a double torn edge border on the spread to help tie the two sides together, but also define the space. Notice that the Walkabout sticker is on the page three times and that one of them is behind the photograph. I had to do this because I realized after all the cuts had been made that the sticker would have covered the face of one of the people in the picture.
I also used scraps from the other cuts for the ice cream colors to help coordinate the page, and I used a leftover cutout from the first Greenville University Homecoming spread on the right-hand page to remind us that this is part of the Homecoming 2022 experience.
