2022: Blue Whale of Catoosa

Another stop that we made on the way back from the Greenville University Homecoming was to see the Blue Whale of Catoosa. This Route 66 roadside attraction even has it’s own Facebook page!
I created this design using Cricut Design Space and then cut it out using my Cricut Machine. I designed it to go across both pages and had to use a 12×24 mat to cut a couple of the pieces that were larger than 12 inches. I chose a water background paper for this project to create the illusion of the whale graphic swimming through page.
I did something that I don’t normally do on this page – and that is to put in a travel guide article about the Blue Whale, and I did this because I thought that it was a great article, and it also does a nice job of explaining the attraction. I doubt that it is acid free, but I thought that it was important enough to put on the page.
