2022: NXL Paintball World Cup – 2
This is the second spread of our time at the NXL Paintball World Cup. While the first spread showcased my son’s team and their games, this second spread showcases pictures of my son and I along with pictures of my son helping the Division I teams during their game play. He did this by helping to p[rep them before the game as well as picking up paintball cannisters that are dropped on the field after each round.
I chose a blue and red theme for this spread to match the colors in the pictures as well as the lanyard that is bordering the edges of the spread.
The left-hand page has pictures of my son and I and is matted with a light blue mat with the logo of the NXL drawn in the middle. I designed this using Cricut Design Studio and then drew it and cut it with my Cricut machine. The blue paintball splats on the page also were cut using the Cricut.
The right-hand page shows the pictures of my son helping the Division I team and includes a cut out photo of his “pit pass” that allowed him to be there to be on the field. To create a little more interest in the spread and break up the “blockiness” I used a grey torn edge border on the edges.
I purchased an NXL lanyard at the gift store and cut it to fit on the page and then used a long strip of adhesive tabs to attach it to the spread.
