2022: NXL Paintball World Cup – 3
It has been a while since I have posted a new project. Usually in August and September I do not post much as I work in Higher Education and the start of school means that I don’t have a lot of time to work on projects to share. This spread has actually been waiting for me to finish it since July! So, it was nice that I was able to finish it today.
This is the third and final spread of the 2022 NXL Paintball World Cup from November 2022. There were so many pictures that I took that I decided to pick the best ones and to put them all on this page along with stickers that I picked up at the event. I thought that it would be fun to have the design of this page look like the sticker covered equipment cases that so many of the players have. So, it is very busy, but it does cause the viewer to slow down and look more carefully at the pictures. I am not sure who all of these people are – but my son told me that they are famous in the Paintball world – so I believe him! Do you recognize any of them?
The red bar in the top of the right-hand page is the wrist band that I wore for entrance into the events, and it is taped on the backside of the cardstock to hold it in place. Also, on this page you can see that some of the stickers go off the page – I wrapped those around the cardstock and they are stuck to the back of the page. I felt like this would be cleaner than cutting them to match the edge of the cardstock.
