2020: Memorial to Joey – New Kitten
This is the first full spread in the Memorial Album for Joey, our first cat. This was a really fun spread to put together because I love the pictures – Joey as a kitten was so cute – but I also love the pictures on the right-hand son of Joey and my son sleeping together on the floor. One of my favorite moments of our family memories.
I used Cricut Design Space to create the matting and graphics for this spread, and then used my Cricut Maker to draw and cut them out. The images are part of the Cricut Access collection. The background paper came from a cat paper pack, and I selected a complimentary solid light blue cardstock for the matting. As this spread has a very busy background, and not a lot of extra space to create a border, I decided not to use the decorative border stitching on this spread, but you will see it in some coming up over the next few days.
