2020: Memorial to Joey – Cat Nap
I love the positions that cats get themselves into when they are sleeping, and so I have a ton of pictures of my cat curled up or sprawled out somewhere in our home. I decided to dedicate a whole spread to these “napping” pictures in my memorial album to our first cat, Joey.
The background paper came from a cat paper pack, and then the rest of the spread was color themed around that background paper.
I used Cricut Design Space to create the matting, title block, and graphic images, and then used my Cricut Maker to draw and cut the pieces out. The last step of the process was to add the stitched decorative border on the right-hand side, using my sewing machine to accomplish this. This border appears on many of the pages in this album, which helps to tie the spreads together.
