2020: Memorial to Joey – All Sprawled Out
I love the way that cats can contort themselves into crazy positions, and our first cat, Joey, was no exception. This scrapbook spread in Joey’s memorial album is dedicated to showing off some of his crazy body contortions.
The color theme of the page is based on the orange background paper that came from a cat paper pack. I designed the graphics, title block, and double matting using Cricut Design Space, and then drew and cutout the elements using my Cricut Maker.
I selected to use a double border as the background is pretty busy, and having the double border helps the pictures to stand out better against this busy background. I then used my sewing machine to stitch the decorative border on the torn edge border on the left-hand side of the spread which helps to tie the pages from this album together.
