2024: Memorial – Peggy Hill – Second Program and Urn

This is the last page in my mother’s Memorial Scrapbook album that a created scrapbook spread. The remaining pages are the notes, tributes, and cards from this timeframe and are archived in the 8.5×11 plastic page protectors.
The left hand side is the two sides of the program from the second Celebration of Life Service held in Greenville, IL in May 2024, and I embellished it with a butterfly from my mother’s collection.
The right had side continues the Victorian them with the torn background and is a picture of my father with the Urn that we selected for my mother’s remains. We know that it is not at all traditional, but it perfectly captures the joy of my mother’s life. If you click on the picture above, you should be able to zoom in to see it in closer detail. The pictures are hummingbirds flying above some flowers.
The oval is the cut out from the Title page of this memorial album, and helps to continue the Victorian and butterfly theme. Two additional butterflies from my mother’s embellishment collection adorn this page.
As the program above shares my mother had three organizations that she cared for deeply and to which we requested memorials in lieu of flowers. They are:
SOAR – https://www.soarrehab.org/
Greenville University – https://www.greenville.edu/
Eden’s Glory – https://edensglory.org/
I thought it appropriate to share here in case any family and friends want to support these important organizations.
