2023: Dallas World Aquarium 2

This is the second spread from our March 2023 trip to the Dallas World Aquarium. This spread features additional animals that we enjoyed watching.
I used African Safari background paper for this spread, and the left-hand background page has a crocodile at the bottom. I used a fine tipped pair of scissors to carefully cut the outline of the crocodile so that I could put the photos and matting underneath it so that the whole crocodile could be seen. To see how I made this sturdy watch the video below.
I was able to find an SVG of the sawtooth fish online and then used Cricut Design Space and it’s new upload and layer feature to create the six layer sawtooth fish on the right-hand side. This took a lot of work – but I really enjoy how it turned out. The toucan and the flamingo are part of the Cricut Access collection. I used Cricut Design Space to design this entire layout, including the matting (using the Outline feature), and then cut out all of the pieces using my Cricut Maker. It took about two hours to create all of the pieces for this spread, but I really like how this turned out and am glad that I put in this effort.
