Finding Your People: Facebook Scrapbooking Groups by U.S. State
Scrapbooking may be a solitary craft at times, but it doesn’t have to be lonely. One of the best things about today’s scrapbooking community is how easy it is to find your people—especially through Facebook groups dedicated to crafters in your home state.
That’s right—there are state-based scrapbooking Facebook groups where locals connect to share layout ideas, host in-person crops, swap supplies, and celebrate everyday moments through paper and glue. Whether you’re deep in the heart of Texas, high in the Colorado Rockies, or tucked into a quiet Vermont village, chances are there’s a Facebook group filled with fellow scrapbookers who “get it.”
As part of an ongoing project, I’m compiling a list of these Facebook Scrapbooking Groups—organized by U.S. state—to help crafters plug into their local creative communities. I’ll be publishing each state’s listing over the next couple of months, highlighting groups I’ve found and sharing a little local scrapbook flavor for each one.
