2025: Stella Graduation – Friends
This is the second spread in Stella’s graduation album—and it’s one that radiates joy, laughter, and the unbreakable bonds of friendship. After all, every top dog deserves to celebrate with her pack!
The background paper on this layout immediately sets the tone: a warm brown cardstock covered in dog names—the perfect nod to Stella’s new role as a veterinary technician. It’s a subtle but playful touch that honors the many four-legged patients she’ll soon be caring for, from Scruffy to Luna to Max and beyond.
For the photo mats, I used a coordinating paper featuring a circle pattern in a matching color scheme, echoing the title page but with just enough variation to keep things interesting. I love when a collection lets you mix and match while still keeping a consistent look across a themed album. It’s kind of like matching collars for a litter of pups—different personalities, same family vibe.
As with the rest of the album, I turned to Cricut Design Space to map everything out and then let my Cricut Maker do the heavy lifting—cutting the shapes and assembling the framework for this celebration of friendship. It’s always amazing how precision cuts can elevate a spread, especially when you’re working with bold patterns and layered textures.
These two full-size 8.5 x 11 pages are filled with photos of Stella at her graduation party, surrounded by her vet tech friends. Scrapbooking this spread reminded me that while becoming a vet tech is about science, skill, and compassion, it’s also about community—the friends and fellow animal lovers who walk the journey with you.
