2025: Stella Graduation – Stellabration and Cards
🎓🐾 The Grand “Stellabration” – Wrapping Up with Love and Laughter 🐾🎓
This final spread in Stella’s graduation album brings the celebration to a heartfelt close—and just like any great vet tech send-off, it ends with love, laughter, and just the right dose of creativity.
At the heart of this layout is a goofy photo of my son and Stella, snapped during her graduation party. It’s the only picture the two of them took together that day (future scrapbookers, take more pictures!), but it turned out to be a gem. It was a must-include moment, and I’m so glad I had this snapshot to anchor the left-hand page.
To give the layout a playful flair, I created a custom title called “Stellabration”—a fun mashup of her name and the word “celebration.” I designed it in Cricut Design Space and cut it with my Cricut Maker, layering complementary colors to give it a dimensional pop. After all, a vet tech graduation party deserves a title worthy of a top-of-the-class grad and her devoted fan club!
The right-hand page is all about preserving the heartfelt keepsakes from the big day. Using Cricut Design Space, I designed and cut a series of slits directly into the background paper to create card holders. They’re the perfect size for tucking in some of the sweet notes, congratulations, and well wishes Stella received—like a little kennel of kind words she can revisit whenever she needs encouragement. And since the final page in any album has to stand alone (thank you, plastic page protectors), I copied the card-holder design on a separate single page using a different paper from the same pet-themed collection. It complements the previous page while giving it a unique flair—just like every pet in a multi-animal household has its own personality but still belongs to the same loving home.
Putting this album together has been a joyful journey—honoring a young woman who’s about to spend her days helping animals heal, offering comfort to worried pet parents, and making a difference one paw print at a time. Stella’s future is bright, and I’m proud this album will travel with her as a reminder of how loved and celebrated she truly is. 🐾🎓💌
