2016: Branson Vacation – Title Page
This blog starts a new adventure – our Family Trip to Branson, MO. The left-hand picture is the Title Page for this Album, and the right-hand picture is of the album cover that I chose to hold this collection. When I saw this album cover, I remembered that about 10 years ago I observed a friend of mine using a sewing machine to sew thread right onto scrapbook paper, and I decided that I wanted to try this as a theme element for this entire album. You will see that on almost every page of this album I managed to use my sewing machine in some way.
For example, you can see a vine pattern on the green side border of the title page. I bought this wood plank paper at a local scrapbook store in Branson, MO, (Scrapbooks Forever) and then used my Cricut Machine to cut out the letters and numbers and their borders. I chose white for these to match the pre-printed word “Branson” at the top of the page. I also used a jagged edge tearing tool to tear the green and wood borders that are on the left-hand side of this page.
