2015: Tropical Wedding
In July of 2015 I was in my Aunt’s wedding – I was the ring bearer! I have been in over 20 weddings and this was the first time that I was the ring bearer! The theme of the wedding was tropical, and so I used that theme on this spread.
The left hand page has fishnet that was used for table decorations on it. I wrapped it around the edges of the paper, and then carefully taped each piece of string to the back. I then realized that the string going over the edge would make it to big to fit in the plastic page protector, so I took the whole thing apart, trimmed a 1/4 inch off of the paper all around and then did it again. I then tucked the wedding fan into the netting and used Foam Mounting Squares to attach the back of the fan and the program to the background page through the netting. The slight depth of the foam allowed these two items to float above the net.
The petals on the right hand page are also from the table decorations at the wedding, and were attached the to page using a decorative brad and a hole my by my Crop-A-Dile Big Bite Punch.
