Spring Break 2017 – Orlando: Universal Studios Parade and Horror Special Effects Show
This spread showcases three different events during our time at Universal Studios. Pictures taken after the Horror Special Effects show (left hand side), a picture from a street band show, and pictures from the parade.
The theme of the parade was Despicable Me, so I chose a yellow theme for the spread which is the color of the minions. The right-hand page as a Minion glasses background, and for the left-hand page I actually used the left-over cutout from the Astronaut cutout that I made for the Kennedy Space Center spread. I put a yellow paper behind the cut out, and then to give more interest in the page I used a corner punch to cut the circles on the left-hand side.
I grouped the pictures in sets of 4 and then bordered them in a black border so that they would stand out on the page. For the right-hand page, I used a circle cutter to cut out a minion set of eyes from paper from a Minion paper set.
