2017: Senior Album – Tattoos
The 8th spread in my son’s Senior Album is tattoo themed. He wanted to make sure that he had some photos that highlighted his tattoos, and the photographer happily obliged. One of the tattoos that is highlighted is of an arrow, and so I mirrored this theme on the spread. In addition to the old jeans pocket that I glued onto the spread, there are two metal arrows that point back to his arrow tattoo.
Additionally the stitching pattern that I used to hold the spread borders in place are arrows. I bordered each picture with a darker denim and then used my sewing machine to stitch them onto the denim background paper. I did this since adhesive tabs do not work well with the denim background paper.
