2021: Fort Worth – Billy Bob’s Texas

This scrapbook spread is of Billy Bob’s Texas and cattle run sculpture that is at one of the entrances to the Fort Worth Stock Yards. The whole spread is designed to look like a waving flag of Texas. I used a Creative Memories wave edge cutter to cut the black strips to give it this effect.

The left-hand page contains my ticket and pictures from inside and outside of Billy Bob’s Texas which is a famous Country Music Honky Tonk with live music, bull riding, great food, and some great concerts. It is huge inside and a lot of fun. I bordered the pictures on this side to help them stand out against the simple blue background.

The right-hand page share four pictures of a cattle run sculpture that is at the entrance to the Fort Worth Stock Yards, across the street from Billy Bob’s Texas. I chose not to border these photos as I wanted to make sure that I did not cover up too much of the red and white so that it would be clear that this was the Texas Flag. With a border it covered to much of it up and it was not clear.

Recently, for most of my scrapbook creations I have also created videos that show me putting them together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
