2022: The Branson Coaster

One of the activities that we did while in Branson, MO for our family reunion was to ride The Branson Coaster. This is something that I have done in the past with both my son and my mother and so we knew we had to try out this coaster that we had not ridden before. It was fun in that it started at the top of the hill and went down, and then brought us to the top and down a second section of track. I had not ridden a coaster that did that before.
At the end of the ride, I decided to buy the event photo for all three of us which were fairly big and all came in a cool folder. I knew that it would be hard to get all of the pictures onto one spread, so I actually made 4 pages for this adventure, that are all themed alike. I used Cricut Design Space and my Cricut machine to create the mountain background, draw a track onto the segments, and to cut out the small black coaster. I mirrored the image so that it would look good where the pages connect in the middle.
For the first spread I used the folder with the picture of my son in it. When I get ready to put it into the scrapbook album, I will slit the plastic page protector so that the photo is under the plastic, and the cover is on top, so that the viewer can open it to see what it looks like inside. If you click on the photo to the right you should be able to see a larger version to see what it looks like when it is opened.
The right-hand page has a picture that my father took of us just as we were about to start the ride, a sticker from the gift shop, and the three ride wrist bands from the adventure. I like to keep these kinds of things as I think that they are cool ephemera.
The second set of pages are of the pictures of my mother and I with the exact same design as the front page:

As has been my practice lately I created a video of the process of creating these pages that you can watch on the Mascrapping YouTube channel below:
