2023: Disney Trip – Annual Album Redirect Page

Even though the Disney trip album is complete, I always like to include a redirect page in my chronological annual album. It serves as a visual reminder for the viewer to jump over and explore the dedicated trip album at the right point in the timeline.
For this layout, I used a mix of leftover ephemera and recreated a few design themes from the main Disney album. The background paper and borders are from a Disney-themed pack — probably one we picked up back in the ’90s. Using my Cricut, I cut out the Spaceship Earth graphic (just like the one featured in the main album) and created a title block that clearly points the viewer to the separate Disney album.
The Mickey Mouse sticker at the center of the left page came from our vacation welcome packet from Disney. On the right page, you’ll see a printed photo of Spaceship Earth that was part of the official photo package, along with a mix of stickers from an old Finding Dory’s Friends sticker book we picked up at The Seas in EPCOT, and several vintage Disney stickers — again, probably from the ’90s.
You might also notice a bit of white patterned paper showing through — that’s actually a color photocopy of the autograph book I had planned to use in the Disney album but didn’t end up including. Repurposing it here felt like a nice way to still feature it.
All in all, this page does double duty: it holds onto a few meaningful pieces that didn’t make it into the main album, and it guides the viewer to the larger trip story — without losing its place in the annual record.
