2007: Surfing and Sandcastles
This page combines two different days and topics, but they are still related by the ocean. I also tried out several new techniques and tools with this spread.
The left hand page shows my son in his new wetsuit with two of our surf boards. The right hand page shows our time at the Imperial Beach International Sand Castle competition.
Starting on the left, the large yellow surfboard was cut using a die cut and my Sissix Big Shot. The titles on both pages are cut using the same font and paper using my Cricut which was new to me at the time. I used my Crop-A-Dile Big Bite Punch to put the yellow eyelets on the right hand side of the left page.
