2021: North Carolina Road Trip – Andrew Jackson Hermitage – Ephemera

This is the third and final spread from the Andrew Jackson Hermitage and contains the ephemera from the trip. I collect stamps, so I was particularly excited to find this Andrew Jackson stamp collection in the clearance section. Rather than keeping it with my stamp collection, I thought that it would be better to keep it with the other ephemera from the trip.
The stamps and the card which explains what each stamp is are on the right-hand page, and I kept the stamps inside of the plastic stamp protector card that they came in.
The left-hand page has a patch from the museum store, as well as the bag from the museum store that holds my ticket, a location brochure and map. Creating a pocket like this allows the items to be removed from the page to opened and viewed. I chose dark maroon colors for this spread to match the colors of the word “Hermitage” on the pocket, as well as to continue the cark muted theme on the other two spreads. I used a jagged edge tearing tool to create the borders using a copper paper.
Recently, for most of my scrapbook creations I have also created videos that show me putting them together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
