2021: East Central University Homecoming 2021
I am currently working at East Central University, and Homecoming 2021 was the first homecoming that we had after Covid. We revived ECU Homecoming traditions and restarted the ECU Homecoming parade. I chose orange and black for the theme of this spread to match the institutions colors.
The title was actually cut out of the black matting for the pictures on the left-hand page using my Cricut machine, and then an orange cardstock placed behind the cutout to create the title. I did this because the background paper on this side is pretty busy, and it made the cutout difficult to read. The #ECUTigers sticker on the right-hand page is actually from a keyboard sticker pack that I found in my office and thought that it would be great to add to ECU related scrapbook pages. I used a jagged edge tearing tool to create the orange border on the right.
Recently for most of my scrapbook creations I have also created videos that show me putting them together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
