2023: Disney Trip – Ephemera
Gosh! Wrapping Things Up—The Last Page of the Album!
Oh boy! We’ve come to the very last page of the scrapbook—hot dog! Now, this isn’t just any page… it’s a special pocket page, perfect for holding all those extra magical little keepsakes that didn’t quite find a home earlier in the album. I always like to end my Disney trip albums with a single page like this—it’s like a cozy spot for all the leftover pixie dust!
For this final page, I turned it into a pocket by carefully cutting around Mickey Mouse using a sharp pair of pointed scissors. Then, I stitched across the bottom with a sewing machine to make sure everything stays snug and secure, just like Minnie would! Behind Mickey, I created a little slide-in space where I tucked away all kinds of fun treasures.
Inside the pocket, you’ll find a copy of the EPCOT map—even though there’s one earlier in the book, I couldn’t resist adding another! There’s also the welcome booklet we received when the vacation was booked (yep, the one with Minnie on the cover—she looks swell). You can even spot a printed, stapled copy of our itinerary, right in the back! It’s fun to look back and see how we planned our magical days. And one of my favorite touches? I photocopied the front cover of our autograph book—the same one we gathered all those wonderful character signatures from—and slipped that inside, too!
Now, I know these ephemera pages can look a little crowded or wacky, but that’s part of the fun! You can pull things out, flip through them, and relive all the memories without needing everything glued down. It’s like a surprise in every pocket—hoo-hoo!
