2024: Silobration, Waco, TX

In October 2024, I had the joy of attending the 9th Annual Magnolia Silobration right here in Waco, Texas. Every fall, the Silos come alive with music, food trucks, artisan vendors, and that warm, small-town-meets-big-dreams energy that makes Magnolia so special. It’s part street festival, part shopping adventure, and part cozy autumn gathering—and it’s the kind of event where you just want to slow down, take it all in, and maybe grab a cupcake or two for the road.

I know I’ve been sharing a lot of Magnolia and Silos spreads lately, but it was my very first year experiencing all of this, and I wanted to soak it up. I’m already counting down the days until October 2025 when I can do it all again.

The color palette for this spread was inspired by the Waco, TX postcard you’ll spot on the left-hand page—warm, earthy tones with a touch of vintage charm. I designed the entire layout in Cricut Design Space and cut the pieces with my Cricut Maker. The left-hand page features two postcards from the event and a pair of photos. I trimmed down a photo and a postcard so they’d fit just right.

On the right-hand page, you’ll see more snapshots from the day, along with one of my favorite little details—a cut-out from the cupcake box I brought home from the Silos Baking Co. (because you know I wasn’t leaving without something sweet). It’s a small reminder of a beautiful October day filled with laughter, inspiration, and a little Magnolia magic.

If you’d like to see how this page came together from start to finish, pour yourself a cup of coffee and click play—you’ll get a peek into my creative process, from choosing the colors to adding those little details that make a spread feel like home.
