2016: Portsmouth, New Hampshire & Kittery, Maine
As I shared yesterday we were making a 1 day road trip and so we drove to Portsmouth, New Hampshire so that we could walk across the bridge to get to Kittery, Maine – two towns, in different states, that are across a small bay from each other. We were not there long, and I only got two pictures – one in each city.
Fortunately I was able to find these two cool background papers at a scrapbooking store in Branson, MO, where we had a family vacation the week after this trip. I bordered the pictures in white to mimic the while lines in the pre-printed background pages. I would not normally use paper this busy for my layouts, but as I only had two pictures for these two states it really helped to fill these pages out.
To hold the Portsmouth map I carefully used my paper trimmer to create a cut to make a pocket to hold the map (Learn How to Create Pockets for Ephmera).
