2016: MagiQ Room – Escape Room
While we were in California we went to an escape room called MagiQ Room. My parents had never done an escape room before, so we picked a pirate themed one which I knew would be fairly tame. We had a great time and even escaped in time!
For this spread I chose a seashell background paper, and then chose the complementary colors based on this orange. I used my Cricut Machine to cut out both the pirate and the pirate ship. I chose the colors for the pirates clothes based on the color scheme for the page. I also added the business card from the MagiQ room (with a triple border), a picture that was taken of us, and the official picture from the event that was emailed to us after the event. I used a jagged edge tearing tool to create the double border on both sides of the spread.
I want to put in a little positive note for escape rooms – they are a great way to create a family bonding experience and a memory for a lifetime!
