Summer Road Trip 2017: Gaylord Opryland
One of the stops on my road trip was the Grand Old Opry, and like usual – I showed up early. So I decided to go over to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel to check it out. I had never been in one before and I was amazed! There were beautiful gardens all through the hotel and I took quite a few pictures.
For this spread I chose a green and gold theme. The gold to match the Gaylord logo color and green for all of the plants in the pictures. I was able to use Cricut Design Space to develop an SVG file of the Gaylord Logo that I found online, and then used my Cricut machine to cut it out. I created a thick border on the left for two reasons – first was to accommodate the large Gaylord logo, and the second was that I only had two postcards that I wanted to put on that side of the spread. I put 4 of my pictures on the right hand page and then used an ornamental leaf brad to center the page. The side borders of the spread were torn using a jagged edge tearing tool, and match the colors of the logo and the borders to the photographs and then postcards.
