50th Anniversary: Gatlinburg Cabin
This spread share the outside and the inside of the cabin that we rented for the family vacation in the Gatlingburg area. We used Aunt Bug’s Cabin Rentals to make our reservation and the entire experience with them was wonderful.
The left page has two pictures of the cabin that we stayed in – if you zoom in you can see my mother standing on the top balcony. I took a front view and a side view. This page has a wooden board background to mimic the wood of the cabin.
The right page has pictures of us enjoying and resting (some more than others) inside the cabin. I used a smoky mountain black bear background paper for this side.
I used a double border on the edges of the spread – the vellum pine tree and a straight edge brown border. I used my sewing machine to stitch the pine tree pattern to the borders.
Second Album: To the right is the page that I made for my album. The left hand page is exactly the same, but I have used pictures of me on the right hand page, along with some black bear laser cuts. Click on the image to see a larger version for more detail.
