2011: Spring Break – The New Children’s Museum

While on our 2011 Spring Break Trip to San Diego, we took a repeat trip to the New Children’s Museum. I made a scrapbook page of our first experience which you can find –> New Children’s Museum Opening Day.
This second trip was a lot less crazy and packed, and we were able to enjoy more of the activities with fewer people around. I chose some brightly colors background pages to match the vibrant colors of the museum.
As you can see from the pictures on the right hand page we spent some significant time building a very large Jenga tower, and great joy was derived from knocking it down. If you look closely at the background of the page you can see that I made some paper Jenga blocks which are falling over to emphasize the activity.
The photos on the left hand page have rounded corners created using a Corner Punch to mimic all the circular images in the photos, which those on the right hand page were left with 90 degree corners to mimic the exact edges of the Jenga Blocks.
