2011: The Braces Finally Come Off
This was a fun spread to do! My son had two wear braces for quite a long time – and this spread shows the journey from the first day to the last when they came off.
My inspiration for this spread actually came from the themed sticker pack that I used on this page. The blue background paper was chosen to match the stickers and the blue in my son’s clothes in many of the pictures.
If you look carefully at the edge of the photos you will see that I have used a corner punch to round only the inside parts – so that the pictures look like a set of teeth. I used wire and double-sided adhesive tabs to then create metal squares to look like braces on the photos. I have to say I was pretty proud of myself for coming up with this when I did it :).
