2011: Our Birthday
I think that I have shared this before, but for those that are new – my son and I share a birthday! I love it because it makes the day doubly special. In 2011 my son turned 13 and I turned 40 – so it was a pretty big year for us.
This spread has some pictures of us opening presents, but mostly showcases cards we received. Some of the cards are attached to the outside of the plastic page protectors so that they can be opened by the viewer to be read which you can see in the photograph below. Some people might think that this page looks crowded, but I like that it contains so may ephemera from the day that help us to remember it.
