2019: Metamora, Indiana – Whitewater Canal

Part of what is amazing about Metamora, Indiana is how much there is to do in such a small town. I purchased tickets to ride on a horse drawn canal boat on the Whitewater Canal. The canal has the last remaining wood aqueduct that passes over another stream in the United States.

I used some antique looking outdoor background paper for this spread, and on the righthand page used a leftover cutout from the waterwheel page shared yesterday. This circle creates more a more dynamic spread adding curves to the layout.

I cut the horse out using my Cricut Machine and bordered all of the pictures in a dark brown as well. In the middle of the lefthand page is a pressed penny that I made in one of the stores in Metamora.
