2021: Spring Break 2021 – Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi
After enjoying the sunrise my aunt and I caught the Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi and rode it on the complete round trip. We stopped for lunch at one of the stops which you will see in the next spread. This was an extraordinary way to see the Intercoastal Waterway, the beautiful homes along the waterway and enjoy the cool breeze. Pictures on this spread include a water taxi that we rode on, some mansions, and a floating tiki bar.
I chose the colors for this spread based on the color of the Water Taxis and the logo. I used a jagged edge tearing tool to tear the double border on the edge of the spread. I used a green matting for the photos to help them stand out against the background. On the left-hand side of the spread, I affixed the brochure to the outside of the plastic page protector so that it can be opened by the reader. In the middle of the right-hand page, I put my on-and-off ticket which is backed in yellow cardstock and put on top of the photos.
Moving forward, for most of my scrapbook creations I have also created videos that show me putting them together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
