2021: Disney – Hollywood Studios – Galaxy’s Edge – Rise of the Resistance – 3
This is the third spread of our time on Rise of the Resistance at Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studeios, which is a multi-stage attraction and so there are several spreads showing the various stages of the ride. After getting off of the transport you walk into this massive landing area. They have done an incredible job of creating an overwhelming feeling when you enter this area. Don’t delay too long though as a storm trooper may get made and push you towards the holding area. (JK – it is just part of the show).
I used my Cricut machine to cut out the Darth Vader and TIE Fighter graphics on this page. These were both pretty delicate cuts and I had to be very careful when putting them together. The line on the light saber was so thin that it did not cut well, so I drew it in with a pen and a ruler, and then colored in the red part. I think that it turned out pretty well. I found these SVG images on Etsy as part of a Star Wars bundle. I also used Cricut Design Space and my Cricut machine to cut out the title block on the right-hand side using a Star Wars font. There is actually a secret message in there that I won’t reveal. 🙂
The background paper came from a Star Wars cardstock pack that I found on Amazon, and I bordered the photos in blue to help them stand out against the busy background paper.
Currently, for most of my scrapbook creations I have also created videos that show me putting them together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
