2021: The Toy and Action Figure Museum – 2

This is the second spread of visit to the Toy and Action Figure Museum in Pauls Valley, OK. This spread focuses on the SpongeBob SquarePants collection and a picture taken of superhero underwear and Pez dispensers. I had a lot of fun creating this spread.
The background paper for this spread came from a superhero paper pack that I purchased on Amazon. The left-hand side has a female superhero mask and I enjoy the way that the eyes from the mask are cut out and you can see the background paper through them. I am not really sure which superhero this is – so if you know can you tell me, and I will update this blog.
Also on this page is a lenticular image of transformers that are actually Valentine’s Day cards that were given to us at the museum. If you watch the video below you can see that the images change depending on the angle that you are looking at them.
On the right-hand side are pictures of the SpongeBob SquarePants collection and a picture taken of superhero underwear and Pez dispensers. I created the SpongeBob and Superman Underwear cutouts using Cricut Design Space. The underwear is a combination of an underwear SVG and a superman logo SVG that were already in Design Space. I created the SpongeBob image myself in Design Space, and then created the yellow contour mat to go around the whole collection. Part of what is fun is that the yellow in the superman logo is actually from the yellow matting. To help this stand out against that background I created a second black mat to go behind the yellow.
My new practice is to create videos that show me putting the scrapbook spreads together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
