2021: The Toy and Action Figure Museum – 1

During my son’s visit for Christmas one of the day trips that we took was to the Toy and Action Figure Museum in Pauls Valley, OK. This is a fun location for all ages. Children will love it, and those of us who are older will enjoy the nostalgia. As you can see from the pictures the collection numbers in the thousands of items. The picture of the “missing poster of Carl” is a clever way that the museum helps people to look closely at the exhibits trying to find Carl. It took us quite a while to find him, but we eventually did, and you will see him in the third spread of this location.
The background paper for this spread came from a superhero paper pack that I purchased on Amazon. The left-hand side has a Captain America mask and the brochure from the museum. I enjoy the way that the eyes from the mask are cut out and you can see the background paper through them.
On the right-hand side are pictures of part of the collection, Missing Carl, and my son as Spiderman! You will also notice that there are two lenticular images of transformers that are actually Valentine’s Day cards that were given to us at the museum. If you watch the video below you can see that the images change depending on the angle that you are looking at them.
My new practice is to create videos that show me putting the scrapbook spreads together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
