2021: The Toy and Action Figure Museum – 3

This is the third spread of visit to the Toy and Action Figure Museum in Pauls Valley, OK. This spread focuses on several other themed areas in the museum.
The background paper for this spread came from a superhero paper pack that I purchased on Amazon. For both pages I used Cricut Design Space to create a custom shaped mat which I cut out on my Cricut machine. The left page mat has a semi-circle to accommodate the patch from the museum gift shop, and the right-side mat includes a cutout of the Millenium Falcon and Hans Solo to bring attention to the Star Wars collection in two of the pictures. This cutout has a Star Wars paper behind it to reinforce the theme, and it matches the colors of the photo above it. The bottom right picture is of the Simpsons collection, and on the bottom left you can see that we found Carl! He was lost in the Western section next a horse action figure.
I put in the Hall of Fame picture of Kevin Stark as he was at the museum on that day helping to run it and we got to meet him. It was interesting to hear his stories of being a cartoonist.
My new practice is to create videos that show me putting the scrapbook spreads together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
