2023: National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum

During my son’s visit to me in March 2023 we decided to spend a day in Oklahoma City seeing the sites. The first stop on this day of adventures was the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. It was a pretty cold day, but the indoor parts of the museum kept us busy for quite a while. It is a family friendly museum with exhibits for children and adults.
This spread was designed using Cricut Design Space and cut out using my Cricut Maker. The left-hand page has the Museum map, which is attached to the outside of the plastic page protector so that it can be opened by the reader, as well as the ticket to the museum. This is flanked by the outline of a cowboy that is one of the graphics that is part of the Cricut Access Subscription.
The right-hand page has pictures taken during the day as well as a cutout of a stagecoach project meant for children which we picked up. I had hoped that I would be able to create it in a way that it could be opened on the page, but it was designed in a way that it could not collapse flat without bending multiple parts, so I decided instead to just cut out one side for the page. If you look carefully I cut the matting off a bit as it was hard to measure this piece for the design. I decided to leave it as is, as I did not think that it looked terrible – did you notice it before I said something?
