2021: Thanksgiving in Florida

For Thanksgiving Day my son and I travelled south to Pompano Beach to visit with my aunt. It was a beautiful day and warm enough to swim so we took advantage of the pool at the condo. My aunt got a great picture of my son and I swimming in the pool from her balcony 12 stories up.

We cooked dinner together and also enjoyed some time watching the ocean from the balcony. I chose yellow and orange theme for these pages to play off of Fall colors. I used my Cricut machine to create the two matts for the photos for these pages. If you look carefully, you can see a cooked turkey in the middle of the right-hand side and the title and palm tree on the left side. The cutout of the palm tree from the left side was placed on the right side.

My new practice is to create videos that show me putting the scrapbook spreads together and talking about the experiences as well as the techniques that I am using. So please enjoy watching this spread being created and assembled:
