2016: Culinary School
During 2016 my son went for part of the day to Culinary school. So of course, being a good dad, I had to go and try out lunch at their restaurant one day. When I was there I found out that my son was on the brochure for the program, and so naturally I had to make a page for this accomplishment!
For this spread I chose a brown theme to match the colors of the logo of the culinary school restaurant. The background papers are of chocolate chip cookies, and of coffee beans. I bordered the brochures and pictures using a dark brown paper, and cut the chef’s hat using my Cricut Machine. I used the inside of this cut as well – so that it shows up twice in this spread.
I used a jagged edge tearing tool to create a double torn edge border (brown and white paper) on each side of the spread to add movement to the page.
