2016: Boston - Freedom Trail - Old Corner Bookstore, Old South Meeting House & Old State House
This spread is the second version of the events of this day.  The first was the version for our exchange student – this second one was for our family album of the trip.  The reason that they are different is that I tried to capture what each of us found interesting on the trip, and in some cases only had one item of ephemera, and so I had to divide it between the two spreads of the same event.

This spread shares pictures and ephemera from three different locations.  Starting from the left:  The Old Corner Bookstore, The Old South Meeting House, and the Old State House.

You will notice that I again used the brick strip to tie this page to the others from the Freedom Trail.  This time I used dark brown to border the brick strip, which matches the borders used for the pictures and ephemera.  I cut out descriptions from information cards that were available at these locations to help explain what they were on the spread.  I also added rubber stamps from the locations to share the date of this event on this spread.  I used a Creative Memories swivel blade and circle template to cut these and their borders.   I used a jagged edge tearing tool to tear the left and right borders for this spread.

My favorite item on this spread is the picture of the vial of tea leaves that were trapped in the boots of one of the men who participated in the Boston Tea Party.
