2016: Branson – Golf – The Pointe
While my parents and I were riding the ducks – my son went to play a round of gold at The Pointe.
I bought these two background papers at a local scrapbook store in Branson, MO, (Scrapbooks Forever), and felt that the tree themes on them would be perfect for a golf spread.
On the left hand page I used light green to border the two pictures, and created a cut pocket in the page along one of the wooden board lines to hold the scorecard from the day (How to make pockets to hold ephemera).
The right hand page has pictures I took of my son practicing on the putting green, also bordered in green. In keeping with the theme of the album, I used white thread and my sewing machine to create a “tree” border on the right hand side of the spread.
