2016: Branson – Shepherd of the Hills Homestead Tour
The day after we saw the Shepherd of the Hills drama, we went back to take a tour of the site and Homestead. As part of the tour you are able to go inside Old Matt’s Cabin, which was a real person who became a character in the book.
I chose an antique looking paper for this spread, and then create a double border on the picture sets. The first border is a think dark brown, and the second border is wider and a lighter tan. In keeping with the theme for this album I used a dark brown thread, and my sewing machine, to stitch the ribbon and bow pattern around this thicker tan border.
If you look at the bottom left picture on the left page you will see the table which Harold Bell Wright used when writing the novel.
