Spring Break 2017 – Orlando: Paintball
The first day of our Spring Break trip, my son and I actually did two different things: He played in a paintball tournament, and I went to the Kennedy Space Center.
As I was planning this spread I looked for SVG images of paintball items and could not find any. My second resource is to go to Etsy and Ebay to see if they have anything. Surprisingly, at that time, I could not find any paintball images to cut, but I did find this “read to go” scrapbook kit. I very rarely use these as I like to do original works, but I realized that for the prize it was worth it to get the kit to save myself designing the graphics from scratch. So – everything on this page, with a few exceptions came with the kit – the background papers and the cutouts of the paintball guns and paint splats.
My unique touches were that I added the camouflage borders to the photos, and I put the the brass brads on the target and the gun handle to help add some dimension to the page.
