Summer Road Trip 2017: William J Clinton Presidential Center and Park
The next stop on my trip was at the William J Clinton Presidential Center and Park, which includes the Presidential Library. The spread above shows pictures from outside of the library as well as the brochure for the complex. The background papers are the leftover cutouts from an earlier project, with a light blue paper put behind them. I affixed the brochure to the outside of the plastic page protector so that the viewer can open it to read it.
On the right hand page I put a commemorative coin that I purchased at the gift shop inside of a coin protector pocket which has an adhesive backing to stick to the page.
This second spread contains pictures from inside the Presidential Library. On the left hand side is a first day cover (I also collect stamps), and a professional picture that was taken while I was at the library. The right hand page has pictures of the oval office, the presidential limousine, and the seal of the President of the United States from the carpet. I used a circle cutter to cut this, as well as the double border for the picture. I chose an Americana theme for the page (reds, blues, stars and stripes) to pay honor to the position of the Presidency.
