Summer Road Trip 2017: The Old Mill at T.R. Pugh Memorial Park
The next stop on my road trip was the Old Mill at T.R. Pugh Memorial Park, which is in North Little Rock Arkansas. To find out more about this location click on the photo and zoom in to read the historical marker sign, or follow the link to the park website. If you are interested only in the short version of this location – it was in the opening credits of 1939s Gone with the Wind.
I had a lot of creative fun with this spread. I choose a green forest theme for this spread to mirror all of the trees at the park. I cut the trees and the Mill Wheel using my Cricut machine. I think created a handle for the wheel, and used a brad to connect it to the page and the wheel so that you can use the handle to make the wheel go around on the page. The handle is on the outside of the plastic page protector, and the wheel is under the plastic. I enjoy making pages that the viewer can interact with, as I think it makes the viewing experience much more exciting – especially for people who were not on the trip.
