Cancun 2017: Hotels
While in Cancun we stayed at the GR Caribe Deluxe Hotel, which is right next to the Royal Solaris Hotel and has a partnership with them. We were able to go freely between the two and to enjoy meals and activities at either one. This spread features pictures and ephemera from the two hotels.
I chose a tropical theme for this spread since we were in a beautiful tropical place, and bordered the pictures in a patterned green paper. I attached our all-inclusive wristbands to the page. The flowers that you see on the page were originally white – and I used colored markers to color them to match the colors from the page.
One of the fun things that I did on this spread was the border on the right hand side. If you look closely at the palm trees from the background paper you will notice that they are on top of the torn edge border strip. I used a sharp pair of scissors to carefully cut the background paper so that the torn edge could slide under it. If you zoom in and look carefully you can see the black marks I made to guide where I made the cuts.
